Anthony "Country Boo" DeWayne Smith Sr

Anthony DeWayne Smith Sr., 55, gained his wings on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on August 19, 1970, in Memphis, Tennessee to Luke Smith Jr. and Freddie “Jean” Smith.

Anthony better known to family and friends as “Country Boo” was the life of the party. Anthony loved life and lived it to the fullest. You could always find him with a smile. He was huge family man. Spending time with his sons and nephews was the most important thing to him, but above all making sure his mother was taken care of was top on his list. He loved to cook and barbeque, even turning his love into a business by acquiring the” Booty Wayne” BBQ food truck. Anthony liked traveling and listening to music.
