It is with get sadness we announce the passing of Anna Dell Bushrod Clay. Anna, who lived 90 glorious years, passed on Sunday, March 9,2025 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, Kentucky. Anna was born in Henderson, Kentucky to John Bushrod and Arvanna Randolf Bushrod on August 20, 1934.
Anna attended Love Temple Church of God in Christ. She spent her working career in several factories around the Henderson area. Later taking on housecleaning. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved very much. A life well lived and will be greatly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents; John and Arvanna Bushrod, husband; Raymond Clay Sr., children; Raymond Clay Jr, Ricky Lane Clay, Charles Edward Clay, Connie Lee Clay, Cecile Clay, sisters; Louise Gilbert, Marguerita Gilbert, Mary Frances Clark, brothers; John Bushrod, Robert Bushrod, Charles Bushrod and one grandchild
Anna leaves to cherish her fond memories, to her sons, Roy Clay, Marvin (Charlotte), Jerry Wayne Clay, daughters; Cecil Clay, and Linda Dixon, sisters; Millie Jackson, Kitty Moore- Gilbert, eight grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
