Andrew Louis Thomas, Jr.

Andrew Louis Thomas Jr., affectionately known as “June Bug” Passed away Saturday January 3rd at 80 years old. He is preceded in death by his mother Ethel Mae Baker, several brothers and sisters and his daughter LaNethea Ann Crawford. 

At 18 Andrew joined the Army National Guard and after enlistment he fell in love with Linda Ann Small, and they were married on March 30th, 1965 in Evansville. Together, they had three children: Andrew Louis Thomas III, LaNethea Ann Crawford, and Matthew Michael Thomas. In his career, he worked at Trockman’s Junkyard, then Stellar Molding Company, Hammer Tire, Faultless Castor, and later at Whirlpool Corporation before retiring. His hobbies included boating, fishing, camping, engine repair and going to the gun range. 

March 2025, Linda and Andrew celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, and in June 2025, Andrew celebrated his 80th birthday. 

Andrew Louis Thomas Jr. is survived by His wife Linda Thomas, his sons Andrew Louis Thomas III (Carolyn), and Matthew Michael Thomas, Sisters Carolyn Graves, Faye (Adrian) Hagen, Shiela Thomas, Thelma Pullom, Cheryl Knuckles. Brothers William Thomas, Alfred Thomas(Mary Ann), George Thomas(Mary), and John Thomas(Arthena)., his grandchildren Sean Michael Thomas, An’yel Deliece Bailey (Ryan), Deon Andrew Thomas, Christopher Matthew Wall, and a host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
