Donald Lewis Black ,57, went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent. He was born January 19, 1965, to the late Talitha R. McGuire Black and Rev. John S. Black
He graduated from Henderson County High School in 1983. He was employed at Carver Day Care. Donald loved dancing, playing cards, being with friends and family, and cooking. He loved chicken he would do anything for anyone, he love people and never met a stranger.
He professed his life in Christ at an early age. He joined Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church in Henderson, Ky. Then he later joined Memorial Baptist Church, where he faithfully served on the Usher Board.
He leaves to cherish memories his siblings, two brothers Rev Tony Black of Calhoun, Ky., Laurence (Frankie) Black of Indianapolis, IN., four sister Carolyn DeJarnett, Phyllis Harris, Barbara Johnson, Gail Turner all Henderson, Ky., a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, special friend Veronica Johnson.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Lester, John T Black, and Tyrone Black
Visitation will be Tuesday 11 am to 12 Noon with funeral to follow at 12:00 pm at Memorial Baptist Church.
