Tyreca Nieco Shelby,48, transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Tyreca was born on November 9, 1973, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Doris L Givens and Titus T. Shelby.
Tyreca graduated from Bosse High School and attended Indiana Business College. Tyreca was a CNA for over 20 years,she loved her work caring for others. She had worked at Columbia, Brentwood, Newburgh Healthcare, St Mary’s Hospital, and various other places around Evansville, until she had to retire due to health issues in 2014. Tyreca moved to Los Angeles, California in 2015 with most of her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she loved crafting, traveling, shopping, and going to the beach with her family.
Tyreca was wonderfully devoted to her 7 children, along with her 2 grandchildren that resided with her, which she raised as her own; Khalil and Khia’Moni.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Doris L. Givens and Titus T. Shelby.
Tyreca leaves her fond and lasting memories to her children, sons, Davion Robinson , Braizion Robinson, Kejuan Barnes, DaKhin Hodges, daughters Paris Terry(John), Rheaujah Robinson( Cordell), Tamya Hodges, siblings LaRon Patterson( Tyrona), Tyran Landours ( CheRon Darrett) , LaTyshon Shelby( Aaron Maffett), Tyrus Shelby, Carlos Garnett(Tara), Joe Chester Jr., Kenya Payne, Danisha King, Tammy Phifer, Sheree Phifer, Tina Phifer, Shalantae Fisher(Walter), Texiana Givens, Lee Givens Jr., Janika Givens, Normiko Givens, Aleah Givens, T’Zel Givens, special brother Ahmad Flemming, step father, Lee Givens, grandparents, Ollie and Donald Cheney, nine grandchildren, her best friends Shayla Clark and Rick Waddell, and Ben Ricciardi close friend and mentor to all the younger children and grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin, extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors , Nurses and Staff at UCLA Hospital;her home away from home, a special thanks for the wonderful care they showed to Tyreca .
